Athina Giouvalakis, Esq.

Athina Giouvalakis is an Associate Litigator with Child & Parental Rights Campaign, focusing on defending parental rights in federal court and other Constitutional protections for parents to direct the upbringing, care and education of their children. Athina is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and South Dakota.

Athina previously interned with the South Dakota Attorney General’s office where she participated in hearings and trial practice. She has experience in legal research and writing, public policy, grassroots advocacy, and coalition building, with a focus on family policy and matters surrounding the federal judiciary. She is passionate about children’s and parental rights and trauma-informed advocacy. Athina graduated with Honors from Hofstra University and received her law degree from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law.
