Kevin Smith, Esq.

Kevin Smith, Esq. serves as Litigation Counsel for the Child & Parental Rights Campaign, where he advocates on behalf of clients in complex legal matters. He previously held an executive appointment in the federal government and has represented a federal agency in both administrative proceedings and federal court litigation. Kevin also brings experience from private legal practice, teaching as an adjunct professor, and serving as a legislative aide in the U.S. Senate. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Kentucky, a Master in Public Affairs (M.P.A.) from Princeton University, and his undergraduate degree from Union College. Kevin is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
